23 Gratitude Posts to Help You Get Grateful NOW!

‘Tis the season to be grateful! So I decided to gather up as much inspiration for gratitude that I could from my blogging buddies. This round-up of gratitude posts includes some about how to be grateful, some about how to show gratitude, a few about family gratitude, a couple on gratitude quotes…well, you get the idea; there’s something for everyone!

Why Gratitude Posts?

Besides the fact that Thanksgiving is right around the corner? Well, truly, the importance of practicing gratitude, specifically gratitude to God, can’t be understated. Look at what Paul says in the book of Romans.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 1:21

If you keep reading, you will see that, in part, not giving thanks led people to idolatry and sexual sin. They “become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity (Rom. 1:29).”

They were envious, murderous, arrogant, and disobedient. They were without love, mercy, understanding, and fidelity.

Yikes!

That sounds like a path I’d rather not go down, but, if I’m honest, how many of these things can I say that I’m guilty of? Maybe not the worst of them, but sometimes I’m arrogant and sometimes I lack mercy, and…you get the point.

So…

The word "Gratitude" painted onto a road.

Now I have a choice, I can choose to keep going down that road, or I can choose to glorify God and give thanks to Him.

I choose to give thanks. If you’re with me, you might find this collection of gratitude posts helpful in redirecting down the path of the righteous.

So without further ado…
